About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced UPVC Window & Door Fitter to join our growing team, working within the social housing sector. This role involves carrying out installations, repairs, and maintenance in occupied and void properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of UPVC windows and doors in residential properties
- Removing and replacing existing frames safely and efficiently
- Carrying out remedial works, adjustments, and repairs
- Ensuring all work meets current building regulations and safety standards
- Working in occupied homes with professionalism and respect
- Completing job reports and documentation accurately
Requirements
- Proven experience fitting UPVC windows and doors
- Experience working within social housing or similar environments
- Valid CSCS card (or willing to complete 4 E-learning courses, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, COSHH and Asbestos Awareness)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
