Salary: Up to £45,000 + 12% annual bonus

Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, they are looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to join their team.

The Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of a range of structural engineering projects, working closely with clients, architects, contractors and other design professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking structural analysis and design across a variety of projects.
- Producing structural calculations, reports and technical documentation.
- Designing structures using steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
- Preparing and reviewing structural drawings and details.
- Working on projects from initial concept through to detailed design and construction.
- Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and other consultants.
- Undertaking site visits, surveys and structural inspections where required.
- Providing technical support during construction and responding to engineering queries.
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant British Standards, Eurocodes and Building Regulations.
- Managing your own workload and delivering projects within agreed timescales.
- Working collaboratively as part of a wider engineering team.
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the business.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Previous experience within a structural engineering consultancy or similar environment.
- A strong understanding of structural engineering principles and design.
- Experience designing in steel, concrete, timber and/or masonry.
- Good knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes.
- The ability to produce accurate structural calculations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
- A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in developing your career.
Chartered status, or a desire to work towards chartership, would be advantageous.
Experience with structural design software, AutoCAD and/or Revit would also be beneficial.
