Responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of cost control for fit out projects from inception through to completion.
- Handling procurement, valuation, and variation reporting in accordance with project timelines.
- Preparing and analysing tenders, cost estimates, and financial reports.
- Collaborating with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure cost-efficiency and compliance.
- Monitoring project budgets and providing proactive recommendations to mitigate financial risks.
- Ensuring all contractual and commercial documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Supporting the project team with cash flow forecasting and financial reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically in new build environments.
- Strong understanding of construction costs, procurement, and contract management.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Full UK driving licence is preferred due to site visits.
