Construction Resources is working with a well-established housebuilding company based in Liverpool to find a dedicated temporary Site Manager. This reputable organisation has a strong local presence and prides itself on delivering high-quality social housing residential projects. The role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to oversee projects on a contract basis for 3 to 6 months, ensuring smooth site operations and successful project completion. The company, which employs between 250 and 750 staff, values professionalism, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to construction. Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of residential building site (c£2m value) ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely procurement of materials.
- Implement and adhere to health and safety policies.
- Monitor progress against project schedules, providing regular updates and managing any arising issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and company standards.
- Maintain detailed site records, including progress reports, site diaries and safety documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the housebuilding sector, ideally Social Housing build.
- CSCS and SMSTS required, ideally 3 day First Aid also
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes and standards.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to residential sites.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Inside of IR35 Regs
