About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Skilled Operative to join our growing team working within the social housing sector. This role involves carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance across residential properties, with a strong focus on bathroom repairs, refurbishments, and installations, ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out a wide range of repairs including joinery, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and basic decorating

Completing bathroom-related works such as repairs, refits, installations, sealing, and maintenance of sanitary ware

Working on occupied and void social housing properties

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations

Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently on first visit where possible

Accurately recording work completed and reporting any additional issues
Requirements:

Proven experience in a multi-trade role, with strong experience in bathroom works

Skills in plumbing, tiling, and basic carpentry

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Full UK driving licence (essential)

Good understanding of health & safety practices

Strong communication and customer service skills
Desirable:

Experience working within social housing or property maintenance

Relevant trade qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds)

CSCS Card or willing to complete E-learning courses (Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, Working at Height and COSHH)
