Passive Fire Protection Installation Teams Required – Newcastle & North East

Due to the award of a major contract, we are seeking experienced Passive Fire Protection Installation Teams (or individual operatives) to support works across Newcastle and the wider North East region.

Project Scope

The works will be carried out within:

  • Hospitals and healthcare facilities
  • Universities and higher education buildings
  • Student accommodation
  • Research and teaching facilities
  • Public sector and commercial buildings

The projects involve the installation, maintenance, and remediation of passive fire protection systems to ensure compliance with current fire safety regulations, building standards, and client requirements.

Contract Duration

  • Initial 2-month programme
  • Immediate start available
  • Potential for further work following successful delivery

Working Hours

  • Day shifts available
  • Potential night shift work depending on project requirements and site access restrictions
  • Weekend work may be available

Team Requirements

We are interested in hearing from:

  • Individual/Solo workers
  • Two-man teams
  • Individual operatives looking to join existing teams

Qualifications

All operatives should hold relevant industry qualifications and certifications, including:

  • NVQ in Passive Fire Protection (preferred)
  • PASMA
  • IPAF
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Valid CSCS Card

Experience Required

Applicants should have proven experience in:

  • Fire stopping
  • Compartmentation works
  • Fire barriers
  • Fire sealing systems
  • Penetration sealing
  • Working within live and occupied environments

Experience working in hospitals, universities, educational facilities, or other sensitive environments is highly desirable.
