Are you a talented designer with a passion for precision and buildable solutions?

We’re looking for a Designer to join our team, producing accurate drawings and engineering solutions from project inception through to handover for production. You’ll work closely with the Design Manager and Contracts Manager, ensuring every design is practical, safe, and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce construction and fabrication stage drawings with precision
  • Record and issue RFIs (Requests for Information)
  • Attend design team huddles and design review meetings
  • Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BoM) for each project
  • Log daily work progress in Smartsheet
  • Produce site and fixings lists
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing procedures
  • Progress your personal development plan (PDP) and stay up to date with evolving industry technology

What Success Looks Like

✔ Drawings issued accurately and on time
✔ Designs remain buildable, safe, and aligned with client requirements
✔ Effective communication with internal teams and clients
✔ Minimal design errors and efficient handling of RFIs
✔ Smooth handover to procurement and production teams


Who We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar design role
  • Strong understanding of construction and how components fit together
  • Proficient in 2D & 3D software: Revit, Inventor, AutoCAD
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
  • Excellent communicator and problem solver under pressure

  • Construction-related qualifications
  • Initiative in managing workload and design challenges
