We are currently recruiting for a Driving Labourer to join an established and growing specialist construction contractor on a temporary basis.
Our client delivers projects across a range of commercial and public-sector environments, specialising in hygienic wall and ceiling systems, wall protection, flooring and specialist internal finishes. Due to ongoing project requirements, they are looking to add a reliable and hardworking Driving Labourer to their team.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work on projects across the UK, with accommodation/digs provided when working away from home. Both day and night work is available, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for flexibility and regular temporary work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general labouring duties on construction sites
- Assisting installers and site teams as required
- Loading, unloading and moving materials, tools and equipment
- Driving company vehicles to and from various sites
- Assisting with the delivery and movement of materials
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
- Supporting the team with site preparation and general duties
- Working both day and night shifts where required
- Travelling nationwide to support projects, with digs provided
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Previous construction or labouring experience
- Good level of physical fitness
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Willingness to travel and work away from home
- Flexible approach to working hours, including nights
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
