The Role

As Creative Lead Designer, you will be responsible for leading the creative response on workplace projects from early-stage brief through to concept and presentation. You will work closely with clients, workplace consultants, technical designers, pre-construction teams and delivery colleagues to create design-led, practical and commercially viable workplace solutions.

You will play a key role in helping clients understand how their space can support culture, productivity, collaboration, wellbeing and future ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative design response for commercial workplace and office fit-out projects.
  • Develop concepts, mood boards, layouts, finishes, visuals and presentation material.
  • Interpret client briefs and translate them into inspiring, practical workplace schemes.
  • Present design ideas confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure creative intent is maintained through the project lifecycle.
  • Support pitches, tenders and client presentations.
  • Keep up to date with workplace trends, materials, furniture, sustainability and design innovation.
  • Mentor and support more junior members of the design team where required.

Ideal Background

  • Experience in workplace design, commercial interiors, office fit-out or design & build.
  • Strong creative flair with the ability to produce polished, client-facing design presentations.
  • Confident presenting ideas and influencing clients.
  • Good understanding of workplace strategy, space planning and modern office environments.
  • Experience using relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Suite or similar.
  • Ability to balance creativity with commercial and technical practicality.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join one of the most respected names in the UK workplace interiors market, working on high-profile projects for well-known clients across a variety of sectors. The business has been recognised for major fit-out awards, including a large office Fit Out Project of the Year award, and has a strong culture built around employee ownership, collaboration and long-term development
